About Caitlin Kelly

Caitlin Kelly is a Cinema and Television Arts Film student with an emphasis in cinematography at California State University Northridge. Born in Amsterdam with roots across Europe, Caitlin's love for the art of film has been an integral part of her life since a young age. In high school, she attended and won film festival awards for short films made in her free time. She attended San Francisco State University with a degree in Film and transferred to California State University Northridge in 2021. 

After transferring, she’s worked on many short films, working as a Cinematographer, Writer, Director, Camera Operator, and Camera Assistant. Caitlin’s visual style fluctuates from work to work, and she prioritizes capturing emotion through her images. Caitlin's work is driven by her desire to showcase feminist and Queer cinema. She believes in using her voice and skill to shed light on underrepresented perspectives and stories.
